The Timers represented in the Time Line View reflects the contents of the Folder, Smart Folder or Library You have currently selected.

Timers can be selected and deselected as in the Timer List View as well as be started and stopped; Label Colors can be changed and more.

The Selection of Timers in the Time Line View will always match that of the Timer List View and vice versa.

2. Selecting View Mode

The Time Line View consists of three view modes: day, week and month. Each view mode offers varying degrees of detail and thus fits different purposes.

Further - The Time Line View will adapt the level of detail displayed depending on selected View Mode and Application Window Size in Relation to Screen Resolution.

The day view mode will allways provide full level of detail regardless of window size.

Use the day view mode to get an overview of which projects you have been working on and when you have worked on them during each day.

The week view mode will provide full level of detail when the RatRace Application Window Width is maximized on Screen. Making the window smaller will decrease the level of detail, effectively merging the display of adjacent time periods. Making the window larger will increase the level of detail.

Use the week view mode to get an overview of each week focusing on your efforts on a day to day basis.

The month view mode provide levels of detail ranging from a representation of the first and last recorded period to near full level of detail (at maximum window width).

Use the month view mode to get an overview of project timelines.

3. The Today Button

5. Day Selection
